Dodging a Bullet

7445717 here. About seven days ago approximately four dozen homes were raided by ICSAT troopers on tips from several massive spiralspoofing operations conducted in the fews days prior.

Among the men and women captured were Masters Gordon and Leslie, and several agents working actively for the Revolution whos names I cannot divulge.

My home was raided as well, though, acting on a tip I had been provided by a friend in the ICSAT Command, I had already secured my belongings and began the trek to the Marley Rocks facitility. Other notable homes raided include those of Master Shu, Grandmaster Fong's chief disciple. Luckily, I was able to warn him and several of the others raided in time. Seven of the captured 23 humans were executed and eight others were sentenced to life imprisonment at Combined Resource Harvesting Camps 8827 and 7672.

Technically, this kind of raid is legal thanks to some tricky manuevering on the ICSATs part.

I am now situated well within the Marley Rocks facility along with other members of the resistance. I have lost my position within the Hive. Other agents have abandoned their posts as well, fearing the ICSAT will hunt them down. To these people, I say this: The ICSAT will not strike without some warning. Listen for signs of this warning, and be prepared for the worst. But do not give up hope, do not give up what we have fought for. Though we've lost some good people in the last couple of days, their sacrifice must not go in vain. Don't let the Insects scare you into subservience! Rise up, stay focused, and work every day for a better world.

I was recently promoted to Senior Communications, and this Update Service is now one of my responsibilities. I've been permanently stationed at the Resistance Base in Marley Rocks since being identified by the Insects as a Dissenter six years ago. My last trip outside the base was two and half years ago, when I took part in the raid on Farm 616. I sustained a substantial injury on the raid, I've been working this "desk job" since.

Now that you're familiar with me, here's a few updates on recent activity:

11098733a - A rogue cell of revolutionaries attempted an attack on a Grub-Truck convoy in the Old City Site late last night. Although they crippled two of the vehicles, all members of the cell were killed in the raid. It is suspected the extremist religious group known as the Rectifiers were behind the attack, but this has yet to be confirmed by our people.

6656qqb - It is rumoured that the Insect High Guard are breeding and training a team of special forces operatives for the sole purpose of tracking down and eliminating (or capturing) the Six Wise Men. They believe by taking out the Grandfathers of the Revolution, the resistance will crumble. They are mistaken, and severly underestimate us. Even if they were to take out all six Wise Men, which is highly unlikely due to the extreme secrecy they live in, we would fight on, stronger than ever.

88089911j - Regent Overlord 2091 (or as he's known around here, The Great Scrotum) has died from lung failure. Good riddance to bad rubbish. It's suspected he will be succeeded by one of his 840 sons.

Insectoid Comm Hacking

Lately, many of you may have noticed that the Insectoid Communications and Security Adminstration Taskforce (ICSAT) have been doing system-wide comm sweeps and have infiltrated many comm terminals. Under the third article of the Slave Rights Charter of 15 AB (Anos Bestiola), the ICSAT are not allowed to monitor telecommunications directly, only via interception or spiral spoofing. However, the ICSAT has been relentless in their attempts to hack several computers of known influential people.

Be sure to update your comm terminals with the latest spiralproofing and anti-infiltration memsets available. If not, you could see an electronic seizure of commlogs or even custom memsets. The ICSAT has jurisdiction over any confiscated goods, regardless of their methods of acquiring said goods.

The latest security and spiralproofing memsets can be found at any SRC Outlets. The SRCOs were created to serve your rights; you should always make sure to visit them for inportant information on what you can do.

Overlord 5051

7445717 here. Regional Overlord 5051 has recently passed a new bill which would let Insect Shock Troops confiscate computing terminals without warning.

We must not let this bill pass!

Roger Berkley, Commander of the 4500 Sector Human Militia, has issued a formal complaint. Diplomats are working round-the-clock to oppose this bill. But their ineffectiveness highlights a growing problem in the human governmental sector of the Controlling Branch of the Insect Command Arm: the initial power granted to them for propaganda and pacification reasons is starting to fade.

It is our current mission to see that this bill is not passed by the Hive Council. But we need your help. Voice your opinions at your local Overlord Administrative office. Make sure that our computing terminals and their varied contents stay in our posession!
